Another awesome event in Hunters Hill last weekend with about 50 people coming together to farewell a lovely family who had sold their house of many years. As a final thank you to the neighbourhood our client invited all their neighbours and friends to a backyard paella party catered by Paella amor.
Chef Mark cooked a 90cm chicken and chorizo paella and boy did we get some great feedback. Our second most popular paella, our chicken and chorizo is known for being one of our most flavoursome. Our best soffrito recipe ever adds an amazing depth of flavour and AAA saffron gives our paellas their signature golden colour. We use an awesome smokey chorizo made by Rodriguez Brothers and quality free range chicken from our butcher. We also make an amazing chicken stock with freshly roasted chicken bones, carrots, celery and onions. All these quality ingredients come together to create one of our fantastic paellas.
We also supplied this client with wine glasses, ice and beverage tubs which her and her guests were able to use for the duration of the event. The best part about this hire, is that we look after all the washing of the glasses which means there is absolutely no clean up at the event. It’s easy and affordable catering with a difference. We also serve our paella in biodegradable bowls with wooden forks, which again, means absolutely no washing up from our clients. We take all of our rubbish with us at the conclusion of the event so we don’t take up any room in your bins and we leave our cooking area exactly as we found it. It really is that easy.
Paella is perfect winter catering with delicious warming rice, fresh ingredients and a selection of different types available from us. We can cook almost anywhere and bring all our own ingredients, gas and equipment. For night time events we just require power point access for our portable lights.
