In December 2019 we catered for an amazing 21st birthday party in Riverview on Sydney’s North Shore. Paella works extremely well for birthdays (including for 21st birthdays) for a number of reasons.
1. Paella is easy to eat and tastes delicious.
2. Paella provides a great talking point to the party.
3. Paella is suited to a number of different dietary requirements, including gluten free, dairy free, egg free and nut free. As well as this our vegetarian paella is also vegan.
For Mia’s 21st birthday catering menu we had the following
Tapas – served share style down her outdoor dining tables
- slow cooked pork belly, stewed cinnamon apples, crackling
- caramelised fig, ricotta, reduced balsamic, buttered crouton
- garlic prawns
Paella – served plated to her guests by the Paella amor team – choice of
- Mixed paella
- Seafood paella
Extras – additional add ons which would also be on the table for guests to help themselves to
- Pana di casa bread
- mixed leaf salad
Dessert – her birthday cake, cut and served by the Paella amor team
This was a great menu to select for a 21st birthday as it really did give something for everyone. The variety of food also meant that we were able to easily cater for any dietary requirements which presented themselves on the evening.
Mia worked extremely hard to ensure the styling for her event was a complete success with fairy lights hung above the guest tables, crisp white linen and hired cutlery and crockery. This is what Paella amor and more specifically paella catering allows our clients to do. We can be involved as little or as much as our clients would like, but mainly paella catering allows our clients to create the vision for their event which suits them. Often venues somewhat limit what can be done, but in your own backyard; the sky is the limit.
