It’s no secret that Paella amor loves a party. More specifically Paella amor loves to cater for engagement parties, especially when they are for our team. Both Michael and Tiera have worked for Paella amor in the past as casual staff members doing everything from serving, bar work and even driving vans for multiple events. Michael was even part of the team that helped cater for over 500 people at the Channel 7 Christmas Party last year!
So when Tiera and Michael asked us for a paella for their backyard engagement party last Saturday, how could we say no!
Dave and Joel were the staff on the job with Alli and I lucky enough to attend as guests. They cooked a 1.15-meter chicken and chorizo paella which was perfectly timed for 6pm just as the temperature really started to drop. Luckily Michael and Tiera had thought of everything with a roaring fire pit and plenty of seating to ensure everyone was able to warm up. They also had an awesome beer barrow (an entire wheelbarrow filled with beer!!!) and a massive selection of wines and champagne to keep everyone happy.
As I am writing this blog, I just got a lovely Instagram message from Tiera saying “The best Paella around, and the best team!! Thank you so much for the wonderful food! @unklebernie and I and all of our guests loved it!” You are so welcome Tiera! We are so glad you and your guests had a great time and loved it!
The main benefits of paella catering by Paella amor are the fact that the hosts can enjoy the evening as we look after it all. We are also usually set up outside and take all our rubbish with us at the end of the event. This means that generally we don’t need to use your kitchen, so there is no clean up and the host can spend their time actually enjoying the party.
