Last week we catered for a 21st birthday in Maroubra in the south of Sydney. Remember we take our mobile paella catering all over Sydney to almost anywhere! We bring all of the necessary equipment and ingredients to cook the paella, are fully self-sufficient and even take the rubbish with us at the end of the event. We are also a Gold Licence paella catering company so that you can be sure that you are getting the best.
Cooking for 50 people, chef Jorno and waiter John were the staff on the job and cooked a custom mixed paella. This was a request from our client who did not want salmon. So we just substituted amazing Australian squid instead. This squid is super tender and works perfectly in either a mixed or seafood paella! They also cooked 2 individual servings of vegetarian paella which satisfied the vegetarian guests. (we offer this as an extra to ensure that you are able to cater for any dietary requirement with the same dish)
We received some amazing feedback from the day with our lovely client emailing us to say “The paella was a hit... people could not stop talking about how tasty it was.” We absolutely love getting this feedback about our paella catering as all that we want to do is ensure you and your guests have a great party.
Jorno and John had a semi challenging set up (but remember we can cook almost anywhere) being next to the house and at the main entrance. This turned out to be a fantastic thing as all the guests were able to see the paella being prepared live in front of them as they entered the party.
A great time was had by all with almost all of the paella eaten. As per our information pack, we leave any leftovers for our clients to enjoy the next day for lunch, so that absolutely none of our paella catering goes to waste.
